Applications are open for the Lake Chad Climate Justice Youth Fellowship 2025.
The Fellowship is designed to empower young grassroots leaders from communities around the Lake Chad Basin to engage in climate justice advocacy, community mobilisation, and local climate solutions.
Benefits
- Practical training in advocacy, storytelling, and project implementation tailored to the Lake Chad context
- Seed funding of $1,500 to each fellow to implement climate justice projects at the grassroots level

Eligibility
- Applicant must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application
- Open to candidates from the Lake Chad region (Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger)
- Demonstrated passion or experience in climate justice, advocacy, or environmental sustainability
- Must commit to the full 24-month fellowship duration and all programme activities
