The International Labour Organisation (ILO) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Enterprise Advisor.
The mission of the ILO is to promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue on work-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Independently produce high quality reports on assessment findings, recommendations for improvement, enterprise improvement plans and progress reports on implementation
- Review the reports of other advisors as part of the Better Work peer review quality assurance system
- Provide high quality enterprise level advisory services designed to improve enterprise performance
- Develop, adapt and deliver Better Work training services
- Select, adapt and contextualise other Better Work or ILO products for use at the individual enterprise level as well as for use with the national level constituents with a particular focus on tools to enhance stronger industrial relations
- Liaise with Better Work Global, other Better Work country programmes and other ILO or development cooperation projects regarding industrial relations and ensure best practices are shared with constituents in Egypt (both at the enterprise level and the sectoral/national level)
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resource Management, Adult Education, International Development, Industrial Engineering, Law, or a related field
- Two years, minimum, of professional experience in social dialogue/industrial relations, capacity building in the private sector in developing countries
- Excellent command of English and good working knowledge of Arabic (both oral and written)
