Submit: Photography 4 Humanity Global Prize

Photography 4 Humanity is accepting submissions for its global prize competition for 2020.

The project, supported by the United Nations, is an international initiative that calls on photographers around the world to bring to life the power of human rights through their images.

The competition is a unique call to action for amateur and professional photographers alike to submit images for a global gathering where, each year, photos from the Photography 4 Humanity Global prize recipient and the top ten finalists will be exhibited at the UN’s General Assembly Gallery.

Benefits

  • The winner will receive $5,000
  • Photos from photographers in the top ten will be exhibited at the UN headquarters and Fotografiska, New York

Eligibility

  • Photographer must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter
  • Images must relate to human rights issues illustrating courage, despair, hope, injustice, hate, compassion, human rights failures or victories
  • Each photograph must include title, date, location, description and photographer’s name
  • All images must have been taken between 01 September, 2019, and 31 August, 2020
