The Private Financing Accounting Network (PFAN) has announced a call for proposals for climate and clean energy projects.
PFAN is a global network of climate and clean energy financing experts bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and investors.
There are many entrepreneurs out there with great ideas for clean energy and climate adaptation projects that are economically viable. However, especially in low- and middle-income countries, the projects and the investment tend to have difficulty finding each other.
Benefits
- The investment amount is between one million dollars and U.S.$50 million
Eligibility
- PFAN accepts applications from projects and businesses in low- and middle-income countries in sub-Saharan Africa
- Project or business must provide climate change adaptation benefits
- Project or business must offer or use clean energy technologies, products or services that fall within their areas of work
