The Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) is requesting proposals from Kenya-based organisations for its Giving For Change Programme.
The programme aims to unlock the collective power of local communities to express their opinion through community philanthropy.
Benefits
- Successful applicant will receive grants between Ksh 2,000,000 and Ksh 2,500,000 for one year
Eligibility
- Open to county-based organisations that are currently being trained or have previously been trained by KCDF on the following areas: local fundraising; and advocacy and policy influencing
- Open to county-based organisations (not necessarily current or past partners of KCDF) that are currently involved in local/domestic resource mobilisation (eligible organisations must be keen to enhance their capacity to fundraise more from within Kenya)
- Open to county-based organisations (not necessarily current or past partners of KCDF) that are currently involved in advocacy and policy influencing (eligible organisations must be keen to enhance their capacity to advocate and lobby for quality service delivery by duty bearers especially at the county level
