Nigerian gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, is Seun Onigbinde‘s top artiste of 2021.
Oyekan got to the Mount Everest of Seun’s list, with Naira Marley, Davido, Joeboy, and Olamide completing the top five.
The BudgIT cofounder, who uses the audio streaming platform, Spotify, streamed 992 minutes of Oyekan’s music, with ‘Worship Your Maker’, off The Gospel of the Kingdom album, Seun’s most played song.
‘My top artist of 2021. Who was yours? Legendary Dunsin Oyekan!’, the development expert tweeted from his verified handle.
Seun did not stop there; he also tweeted his top songs of the year. Olamide’s ‘Rock’ reached the zenith of his top five.
Zinoleesky’s ‘Kilofeshe’, Oyekan’s ‘Worship Your Maker‘, Rema’s ‘Bounce’ and Peruzzi’s ‘Matrimony’ complete the list.
Some of Seun’s Twitter followers seemed to be surprised at the combination of artistes and songs that made his lists.
‘What’s this combo?’, Nuel Bomaye (@EmmaCSI) replied with emojis of cat face with tears of joy.
‘[A]s you go sober in the spirit, you up the tempo small with Marlian Ginger’, the follower concluded.
Another follower, Olaoluwakiitan (@iamlighte), tweeted, ‘I would have bet that [A]yinla [O]mowura or one of the older peeps will be on your list’.
In his response to Ayinla’s tweet, Seun said, ‘Spotify doesn’t have the range. Too sad’.
