Milken Institute and the Motsepe Foundation have announced a call for registration for the Milken-Motsepe Prize in AgriTech.
The aim of the programme is to help global entrepreneurs create technology situations that can speed up the progress of the African continent towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The programme, according to the organisers, will include multiple technology prize competitions in the areas of agriculture, energy, education, and health.
Benefits
- The Milken-Motsepe Prize in AgriTech is a two-million-dollars global competition for innovative solutions to increase economic value to farmers, from seed to sale
- Teams will receive a 12-week experiential learning programme
- Upon completion of the programme, teams will receive a certificate of completion
- Winning team will join the Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize programme alumni network
Eligibility
- Anyone is eligible to register regardless of age, location, or any other factor
- Anybody with a great idea can participate
- Minors will require someone of the majority age to sign legal documents on the team’s behalf
