The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment in the United Arab Emirates, in partnership with Tamkeen, has announced a call for participation in the 2022 FoodTech Challenge.
The challenge seeks to find the next wave of technology innovations that are on the cusp of transforming food and traditional agriculture practices, efficiently and sustainably.
Benefits
- FoodTech Challenge will cover transportation and accommodation costs for successful applicants
Eligibility
- Prospective participants must be above 18 years of age
- Early-stage agri-food technology startups within food production and food loss and waste are encouraged to participate
- Prospective participants/entities are expected to address food production or food loss and waste segments of the value chain
- Prospective participants must have a workable minimum viable product
- Prospective participants must have been in operation for less than five years, and have no more than 25 employees
