The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), in partnership with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has announced a call for nominations for the 2021 Young Scientists Award for Frontier Science.
This annual award, established in year 2020, recognises scientific achievements by young scientists living and working in a developing country. The second edition of the award will recognise achievements in astronomy and cosmology.

- Recipients will receive $10,000
Eligibility
- Open to young scientists not older than 45 years of age
- Nominees must be nationals of developing countries
- Nominees must have been living and working in developing countries for two years, minimum, immediately prior to their nominations
