African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (CentreLSD) has announced a call for nominations for its 2021 Leadership Champion Award.
Leadership is paramount for any individual, organisation or nation to harness her full potential and succeed. Some scholars have pointed out that everything rises and falls on leadership.
Despite this recognition, there is a scarcity of leaders and leadership all over the world, especially in Africa and Nigeria, in particular.
The Leadership Champion Award is therefore designed to recognise past and present graduands of CentreLSD Leadership School who have utilised the knowledge, skills and network gained from the school to advance their career, proffer solutions to tough challenges, and helped in the development of other leaders.

Eligibility
- Applicants should show how the leadership school has helped them to advance their career with concrete evidence
- Applicants should show how they have used the training from the leadership school to train other leaders
- Applicants should indicate the number of persons trained and the curriculum used for the training
- For this year’s championship award, past Centre-LSD students, including the two sets graduating in August and September 2021, are strongly encouraged to nominate/apply for the award
