Dr Paul Sky Berry’s Faith Foundation (DPSBFF) has donated toys, footwear, and other materials, including food and non-food items worth over US$6K to children in Liberia.
It was gathered that among the items donated to the children were learning materials that he had shipped in from the US in order to get the children prepared for the next academic session, which is expected to begin in December, 2020.
More than 1,000 children, according to reports, had come from all parts of Monrovia to receive gifts from Dr Berry.
Development Diaries learnt that this move was made when Dr Berry, who is also a UN ambassador, visited the country to organise his foundation’s regular annual leadership seminar.
‘We always try to identify with our people whenever we are back home because it is always a pleasure and a blessing to give back to your people after you have been blessed’, he was quoted as saying.
On his leadership seminar, Dr Berry said that good leadership should begin from the community and neighbourhood, including places of worship and homes.
He called on all Liberians at home and abroad to know that leadership is a process that starts from the grassroots.
