Liberia: CNSL Defends Farmington Hotel Boss

Executive Committee of the Civil Society Network of Liberia (CSNL) has dismissed allegations of physical assault against General Manager of Farmington Hotel, Dominique Virard.

CSNL claimed in a statement that some individuals had been feeding the public with false information that Viard assaulted a woman at Farmington.

Executive Director of CSNL, Sensee Kiadii, described Virard as a decent and law-abiding businessman contributing to the economic viability of Liberia.

Kiadii said that the allegations against Viard were the work of evil and visionless agents aiming to frustrate Virard and Farmington Hotel.

The group commended the management of the hotel for its hospitable relationship with local, international customers and partners amidst the current economic challenges in Liberia.
