Women in Global Health (WGH) has announced a call for entries for the Startup Innovation Challenge.
As the world learns to live with the Covid-19 pandemic, this challenge offers a platform for women-led startups to advance gender equity in health security and systems.
Benefits
- Winner of the challenge will be awarded $10,000 and the runner-up will receive $5,000
- The winner and the runner-up will receive guidance from an innovation mentor
Eligibility
- Startups must be owned or co-founded by a woman
- Startup must be based in a low-middle income country as defined by the World Bank
- Startup must have a health emergency-focus and idea must support greater gender parity in global health security during Covid-19 and for future pandemic preparedness
- A team member must be available to pitch during the final in November, 2020.
