United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has announced a call for participation in the Worldwide Youth Multimedia Competition.
UNESCO’s mission is to mobilise the optimism of youths to respond to an acute world problem to serve others.
Benefits
- Three finalists in each age group will receive an official plaque engraved with their names
- Finalists will be invited to UNESCO’s Builders of the Universe Camp
- Invitation will include a scholarship that will cover the fee, camp, food, accommodation, and transport
- There will be a special ceremony for contest winners at the camp
- The nine finalists will be recognised and showcased in global events during the year
Eligibility
- Open to persons between the ages of 10 and 24
- The work has to be relevant to the question
- Work must be original
- Entrants should respond in English by making a three-minute multimedia production, 500–700-word written essay, or artwork
