The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Foundation has announced a call for entries for the 2020 National Essay Competition (NEC) for senior secondary school students in Nigeria.
The competition provides a competitive platform for the development of intellectual and writing abilities of senior secondary school students in the country.
Benefits
- The winner will get N2.5 million educational grant
- The first runner-up will receive two million naira educational grant
- The second runner-up will get N1.5 million educational grant
Eligibility
- Be a secondary school student
- Must submit a handwritten essay
- Must submit a passport photograph
- Must submit a copy of birth certificate, national identity card or passport
