Enter: OHCHR Fifth Human Rights Youth Challenge

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has announced a call for participation in its Fifth Human Rights Youth Challenge.

The challenge is designed to address issues tied to safe drinking water and sanitation, with participants expected to produce videos or any other digital content on the topic: ‘The Human Rights to Water and Sanitation of Peoples Living Close to the Nature’.

Benefits

  • Winner will be invited to speak at a side event of the UN Human Rights Council
  • Winner will also be appointed as ‘Youth Advisor to the Special Rapporteur’

Eligibility

  • Entrant must be between the ages of 16 and 24
