The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Global Development Network (GDN) have announced a call for participation in a global video contest.

The contest is aimed at enabling global audiences to learn about their challenges and successes.

Participants are expected to focus on key development transitions taking place across the globe, with the videos telling the story of these transitions through the eyes of young researchers.

Benefits

  • Participants will compete for monetary prizes worth €6,000

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to researchers with at least master’s degree in Social Sciences (Entrant from the Natural Sciences are welcome to apply if they are currently working in larger multidisciplinary teams with social scientists)
  • Entrants should be 40 years old or less by 04 July, 2021
  • Only videos made in English or French are acceptable
