Organisers of Global Sign Challenge have announced a call for submission of entries for the 2020 edition of the competition.
Prospective participants are required to submit a two-minute video about their work and get recognised and rewarded.
The Global Sign Challenge is an annual event that seeks to celebrate the amazing stories of how people use their national sign languages to improve children’s communication skills and learning.
Benefits
- Up to ten winners from any country will receive goodie bags and certificates of participation
- Winners will also receive publication incentives
Eligibility
- Open to preschools, local education groups or non-profit organisations using their national sign languages to support children between zero and eight years old
- Submissions from Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Malawi must attach a co-signed letter of collaboration with a local early years programme to qualify for the book development prize
