Digital for Development (D4D) Hub has opened applications for the #D4Dblogging competition to tackle online disinformation through human rights-based solutions.
The spread of disinformation can have a range of harmful consequences, such as threatening democracies, polarising debates, and putting the health, security, and environment of citizens at risk.
The purpose of this blogging competition is therefore to promote a broader debate on how to tackle online disinformation.

Eligibility
- The competition is open to all bloggers interested in freedom of speech, disinformation, an open Internet, and digital rights and principle
- Blogs that present original views on how to tackle online disinformation through human rights-based actions, create awareness of the issues at stake, and foster new ways for Africa-Europe collaboration in the field
