Enter: Biopage Storytelling Writing Contest

Deadline: 31 July, 2020

Biopage has called for submission of entries for the Biopage Storytelling Writing Contest 2020.

The essence of the contest is to remind people of the benefits of writing, with writers encouraged to pen, dramatically, their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Interested participants could consider sharing their stories in words and pictures, covering pantry inventories, window views, workout routines, neighbours helping neighbours, homeschooling activities and so on.

The story could also be about them fighting Covid-19 themselves, sick family member at home or hospital, treating patients as a health care provider, or dealing with pain losing a loved one.

However, interested participants are advised to pick their best stories, not necessarily about the pandemic.

Benefits

  • Winner can win $1,000
  • Three runners-up can get $200 each

Eligibility

  • The contest is open to anyone from any country
  • Each story is limited to 5,000 characters or roughly 1,000 words
