African ChangeMakers Initiative (ACI) has announced a call for participation in African ChangeMakers Initiative Award (ACiAwards2021).
The event identifies and celebrates excellence, leadership, entrepreneurial ingenuity of social entrepreneurs, businesses, technologists, and social innovators in individuals, programmes, teams, groups, or organisations across Africa and the world.
The gathering also identifies people or organisations turning problems into solutions on a large scale, defender of humanity, peace and freedom, and planet protection.
Benefits
- Award recipients outside Nigeria will be given e-plaques, e-badges and e-certificates which can be printed out and framed for display
- Award recipients in Nigeria will receive plaques and e-badges
- Some high-level organisations/individuals in some categories will be recognised for their well-known impacts
Eligibility
- Nominee must have a company/project/initiative with impact that can be verified
- Nominee company/project/initiative must have benefited Africans or the African continent
- Nominee will make a 60-second (one minute) video of self telling organisers the following: full name, country name, name of company/project/initiative, impact it had in the community or across Africa, why nominee deserves the award and why nominee is an African changemaker
