The World Literacy Summit is organised by the World Literacy Foundation Inc. The summit provides a platform for debate, discussion and sharing of knowledge between some of the world’s most ardent literacy and educational leaders, institutions, organisations and pioneers.

The summit will bring together leaders – education and language academics, aspirational young learners, innovators and leaders from government and not-for-profit bodies – from 85 countries representing over two-thirds of the world’s population, and all with a single focus: advocating, championing and educating on the vital importance of improving literacy levels.
