Attend: World Bank Civil Society Policy Forum 2020

What: World Bank Civil Society Policy Forum 2020

When: 28 September–09 October, 2020

Where: Washington, DC, United States of America

The World Bank Group has announced its readiness to virtually host the Civil Society Policy Forum for 2020.

The CSPF, according to the bank, has become an integral part of the International Monetary Fund (IMf) and World Bank Group Spring and annual meetings, providing an open space for civil society organisations (CSOs) to dialogue and exchange views with World Bank Group and IMF staff, their peers, government delegations, and other stakeholders on a wide range of topics.

Due to the virtual nature of this year’s CSPF and the need to organise sessions at a reasonable time for participants in several time zones, the number of sessions will be limited.

The event is designed to be attended by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), community groups, labour unions, indigenous people movements, faith-based organisations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organisations, and other not-for-profit organisations.
