Attend: Sustainable Energy for All Forum

What: Sustainable Energy for All Forum

When: 16–18 February, 2021

Where: Kigali, Rwanda

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) is an international organisation working with leaders in government, the private sector and civil society to drive further, faster action toward achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7), which calls for universal access to sustainable energy by 2030, and the Paris Agreement, which calls for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to limit climate warming to below 2° Celsius.

The decision to postpone the SEforAll Forum has been taken to ensure the health and well-being of participants considering the Covid-19 situation and as a result of in-depth discussions with the host, the Government of Rwanda, the United Nations and the SEforAll Administrative Board.

Rwanda will remain the host country of the SEforALL Forum, which was planned to take place 26–28 May 2020. Preparations will proceed to ensure the best possible results for the Forum, designed as the landmark opportunity to foster global dialogue about the challenges and opportunities of achieving SDG7 by 2030. The Forum will provide a space for voices from across the global sustainable energy movement to share successes and visions of the future and will serve as a platform to broker new partnerships, spur investment and drive action towards realising SDG7.
