The World Bank Group’s Digital Disruption in Agriculture Forum, sponsored by Norad, is an annual gathering of key stakeholders in the fields of technology and agriculture.
Digital technologies in agriculture can lead to greater efficiencies. Among other things, properly deployed digital tools can improve traceability, strengthen resilience, and boost information transfer and quality, leading to better food safety and productivity in agricultural systems.
The use of digital technologies in agriculture remains limited in many low-income countries, often because of infrastructure, affordability, awareness, and regulatory issues. Speakers and exhibitors at the forum are leaders in their fields and include established companies and promising start-ups. Participants will have an excellent opportunity to learn from and network with these pioneers in digital technologies.
