YouthHubAfrica has opened applications for its Media Internship Programme (MIP).
Launched in 2018, the programme provides digital media skills and six-month internship placements for young Nigerians.
YouthHubAfrica, it is understood, will train young Nigerians with a passion for photography, videography, social media management, and content curation.
Benefits
- 15 young graduates will be provided with hands-on training
- Two trainees will be offered a six-month paid internship with YouthHubAfrica, while other trainees will be referred to similar organisations for paid internship placements
Eligibility
- Candidate must be a young graduate resident in Nigeria, between the ages 18 and 30, with interest or skills in digital photography, videography (documentary and storytelling), or social media management
- Candidate must have a minimum of three to six months of experience in any of the above-mentioned areas
- Candidate must be present throughout the week-long training in Abuja, Nigeria
- Candidate must be available to complete a six-month internship if offered
- Candidate must have a laptop for practicals during the training
