Yiaga Africa has opened applications for its 2022 Constituency Office Internship Programme.
Yiaga Africa is a nonprofit, civic hub of changemakers committed to the promotion of democratic governance, human rights and civic engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as research assistants in respective constituency offices
- Provide support in the coordinating and managing of selected constituency offices
- Monitor and evaluate engagements in the constituency offices
- Participate in respective legislator constituency office activities
- Work closely with the legislative aide(s)
Requirements
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Tertiary education (graduated or still studying)
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Good English language skills (written and oral)
- Resident of a listed constituency
- Young women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are highly encouraged to apply
