The Women’s Voice and Leadership Nigeria Project (WVL Nigeria Project) Strategic Innovation Fund is providing five small grants to support innovative ideas and initiatives addressing gender issues. ActionAid Nigeria, implementing partner on the WVL Nigeria Project, has issued a call for Expressions of Interest for innovative ideas and initiatives that focus on women and girls. This funding opportunity targets innovative ideas that can serve as a catalyst for new ways of doing things within the women’s rights movement in Nigeria.
Benefits
- The grant ceiling is N1,000,000, for projects to be implemented within a six-month to one-year period
Eligibility
- Innovative actions, including policy advocacy and influencing, that address violence against women and girls, women economic justice and empowerment, women political participation and leadership
- Only women-led women’s rights organisations and feminists will be considered
- Only one application per organisation/individual will be considered
