World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Planning, Monitoring and Information Systems Coordinator.
The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to programme quality standards in technical programme designs and adaptation
- Manage monitoring and evaluation systems
- Lead review of all statutory reports
- Lead national level data quality assessment visits to area programmes with regional monitoring and evaluation coordinators and conduct field visits for data validation
- Review and ensure timely data entry into database and retrieval for analysis and compilation for quarterly and annual reporting and dissemination to stakeholders
- Lead national office level monitoring and support visits to regional and area programmes
- Review quality and ensure timely completion of CESP and technical programme designs
- Review quality and ensure timely submission of annual plans including budgets, DIPs, ITTs and area programme narratives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Planning and Management, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field
- Certification in DME appropriate systems and software
- Certification in Monitoring, Evaluation, Data Analysis, Project Management
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of WV working systems, policies and standards will be a plus
- Seven years, minimum, of experience with regard to designing, planning, implementation, supervising and reporting on projects
- Extensive conceptual understanding of and demonstrated practical command for implementing programme design, management and evaluation principals
- Knowledge and practical experience in research, organisational learning and documentation and good writing and editing skills
- Experience in building staff capacities
