World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Recruitment Officer.

The mission of World Vision International includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process though drafting job adverts, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting vetting and background checks for selected candidates
  • Processes staff employment documentation, including offer/appointment letters, contract and job descriptions based on established staff employment policies, procedures and the organisation’s total reward policy
  • Assist the recruitment manager with maintaining, monitoring and updating the recruitment tracking system and other databases as required.
  • Produce and submit periodic recruitment up-dates to hiring managers to track the progress of recruitment assignments.
  • Draft and submit monthly, quarterly and annual recruitment reports to the recruitment manager within the set standards and timeline
  • Ensure that feedback is shared with all candidates that have participated in interviews
  • Support the recruitment manager in management of casual labour services
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new staff
  • Develop, build and maintain relationships with hiring managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational/Industrial Psychology, or Social Sciences with Human Resource Management as a subject from an internationally recognised institution
  • Three years, minimum, of experience in HR practice gained from a reputable organisation
  • Experience of supporting high volume staff recruitment activities across a wide variety of roles and professional sectors
  • Experience of using electronic recruitment systems
  • Good knowledge of labour laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovativeness with proven high levels of integrity
  • Proactive personality, self-driven and strongly motivated
  • Demonstration of well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills
