World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Finance Manager.
The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
- Advise programme teams on resource integration options to meet match requirements of grants and on recovery of indirect and field ministry service costs for grants and private funding
- Lead the development of the annual programme team operating budget, monitor actual performance and develop project projections
- Review and/or generate financial reports for compliance with grant and donor requirements
- Prepare closeout documentation at end of funding cycles in compliance with government regulations
- Support government and World Vision International audits, providing required information and facilitating audit recommendations implementation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or International Business Management
- ACCA, CPA or other professional accreditation
- Seven years, minimum, of accounting and/or grants management experience
- Five years, minimum, of experience managing staff
- Three years, minimum, of USAID grant experience
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and SunSystem
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines and high demands
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion
