The World Vision International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Community Development Facilitator.

The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed and promoting human transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and update Registered Children (RC) and Sponsorship Single User Interface (SSUI) records
  • Enhance participation of children to become agents of change within their communities
  • Process Sponsorship 2.0 products within standard
  • Ensure monitoring of CWB is observed for all RC within the set sponsorship standards using Transformed Field Environment (TFE) and provide a follow-up plan and report on missing children
  • Ensure increase in number of children participating in developmental initiatives
  • Implement Christian commitment activities in the AP
  • Process requests from the sponsors to the children
  • Run TFE reports and prepare narrative monthly report to the supervisor
  • Ensure communities, children and staff knowledge on child sponsorship and monitoring improves
  • Process gift notification and provide report
  • Monitor development activities in area of operation

Requirements

  •  Pass in English or professional certificate
  • Knowledge of computer will be an added advantage
  • Motorcycle registration licence will be added advantage
  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Committed Christian able to stand above denominational diversities
