World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Community Mobiliser.
The mission of World Vision International includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
- Work to strengthen link between IWDGs, HEWs and animal health assistance
- Support IWDGs to identify, register and communicate newborn, under-one children, etc
- Support IWDGs to conduct suspected cases searching by conducting HHs to HHs visit, identified site (by visiting cultural and traditional healing site)
- Strengthen CBDS and NBT activity documentation
- Provide capacity-building training to IWDGs on CBDS and NBT
- Closely work with FBOs, CBOs, schools to enhance CBDS and NBT activities by strengthen linkage as CBDS stakeholders
- Provide support to strengthen health facility routine immunisation, cold-chain management, and vaccination campaigns
- Mobilise community members to share effort for productive execution of CBDS and NBT activities
Requirements
- Diploma in Public Health, Clinical Nursing or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of experience in curative and public health promotion, and infection prevention and control
- Computer literacy
- Commitment to the organisation’s vision, mission and core values
