World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer, VisionFund.
The mission of World Vision International includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and implement short and long term business plans
- Report to the board using standard reporting templates on a regular basis
- Develop and deliver on key performance indicators for RMCR
- Ensure the culture of the whole organisation reflects its mission and vision
- Develop key performance indicators as per VisionFund International and board guidelines
- Ensure the plans are cascaded to implementation groups and staff
- Ensure annual financial projections, reports and budget are prepared for the board on time
- Recommend yearly budget for board approval and prudently manage RMCR’s resources within budget guidelines
- Ensure effective and efficient financial management system is installed and maintained
- Develop proposals to acquire and maintain funding, credit lines, and other financial and non-financial resources required to attain VisionFund objectives
Requirements
- Master’s degree, minimum, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field
- Ten years, minimum, of senior management experience in micro-enterprise lending organisation, banking institution, a progressive corporate environment, international business, agricultural economics/development, or economic and business development institution
- Clear understanding of microfinance industry and technology
- Experience in regulatory environment
- Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Capability and willingness to lead the organisation forward
- Fluency in French and working knowledge of English
