World Vision International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Administration Coordinator.
The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
  • Consolidate, store and ship equipment and supplies to different divisions and destinations
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory in accordance with financial manual standards and procedures
  • Ensure the maintenance, repair, cleanliness and safety and security of the building and the World Vision regional office complex
  • Prepare and ensure the timely payment of all invoices relating to rental, water, electricity, custody, occasional admin labour and transportation
  • Ensure proper management of emergency equipment, fire extinguishers and communication equipment to ensure staff and office safety
  • Prepare the monthly recharge request and ensure the payment of communication bills and any communication related tax (ANR, PTT)
  • Process visas and other documents required by World Vision staff
  • Monitor the implementation of permanent service contracts (rental, maintenance and minor administrative work)
  • Provide support to the logistics/fleet unit for effective implementation for effective management of GIK

Requirements

  • University degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Five years, minimum, of experience at the international NGO level
  • Computer skills
  • Experience in people management
  • Knowledge of estate management and client relations
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Self-management skills and multicultural capacity
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Ability to speak and write both French and English
