World Association of News Publishers (WAN), in partnership with the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA), has opened applications for Climate Change and Environmental Reporting grants.
The WAN-IFRA’s grants are designed to aid newsrooms across Africa in tackling storytelling that demonstrates clear relevance to local communities and addresses the big issues, highlighting the underreported stories.
Benefits
- Newsrooms can apply for up to ten thousand U.S. dollars
Eligibility
- Open to any professional news media outlet
- Applicant must be from Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe
