Viewfinder has opened applications for its 2022 Accountability Journalism Fellowship.

The fellowship is designed to support journalists in carrying out quality investigations and producing in-depth and impactful stories.

Benefits

• Successful applicants will receive R40,000 each to conduct investigation and to work with the Viewfinder team on journalistic production

Eligibility

• Open to South African citizens or foreign nationals with permission to work in the country
• Applicants should be skilled journalists and in a mid-career level
• Both freelance and employed journalists are invited to apply
