The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has opened applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the USAID Burkina Faso Community Health Activity.
The overall goal of the USAID Health Programme in Burkina Faso is to sustainably improve the health and well-being of the Burkinabe people.
Benefits
- $50 million to support programme activities and finance the services of contemplated technical implementing instruments over a five-year period
- Support for appropriate solutions to the myriad challenges that plague human resources for health at the community level
- Support for efforts that improve planning, budgeting, coordination, management, administration, and oversight of the community health interventions at the district level and below
Eligibility
- Applicants must be local organisations in accordance with ADS 303.3.6.5.d, restricted eligibility based on programmatic purposes
- Applicants must be local actors in Burkina Faso
- Applicant cannot be a U.S-based organisation
