United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is seeking to fill the role of Programme Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Take charge of knowledge management for programmes
- Ensure programme development and management
- Ensure optimum use of programme funds
- Carry out programme monitoring and evaluation
- Ensure rights-based and results-based programme management approach
- Ensure national and local capacity building/sustainability
- Carry out advocacy at the national, community and family levels
- Ensure partnership, coordination and collaboration
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of relevant professional work experience in programme coordination or a related field
- Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset
- Background/familiarity with emergency is considered an asset
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of Arabic language is an asset
