United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is seeking to fill the role of Programme Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the chief of field office in Kassala, support the coordination and implementation of UNICEF’s programme across the three states
- Provide guidance and management support throughout the programming processes,
- Lay the groundwork for a potential joint UNDP-UNICEF initiative
- Regularly visit Red Sea and Gedaref to support programme implementation
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or a related field
- Five years, minimum, of relevant professional work experience in programme coordination or a related field
- Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset
- Background/familiarity with emergency is considered an asset
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of Arabic language is an asset
