The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is recruiting to fill the position of Nutrition Specialist.

Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance and monitoring of implementation of project
- Support quality assurance and monitoring of partnerships
- Conduct field visits to the selected countries
- Support countries to link simplified care approaches to prevention packages
- Identify key evidence and information gaps needed to influence policy and practice
- Synthesise key learning from countries in a systematic and methodical way
- Track the scale-up of modifications in countries across the region
- Represent UNICEF at relevant conferences and workshops and TAGs for prevention and treatment of wasting
- Support dissemination of findings via sharing of information using UNICEF platforms
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree
- Five years, minimum, of experience in nutrition programming and/or research design and implementation
- Experience in programme management (desirable)
- Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Experience in conducting and managing research projects
- Fluency in French and English
