United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is seeking to fill the role of Child Protection Specialist.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and monitoring for the timely implementation of the Mali CO PSEA action plan
- Develop a PSEA training plan, to train staff from UNICEF (government and civil society) implementing partners, UNICEF staff, consultants, volunteers on SEA prevention and response
- Work closely with the PSEA country task force
- Ensure child victims of SEA access adequate assistance and support
- Monitor the quality of assistance and follow-up provided to child victims of SEA by UNICEF partners
- Carry out and promote PSEA activities in targeted communities
- Identify opportunities across UNICEF programmes for community sensitisation, risk assessment and capacity building on PSEA
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Human Rights, International Law, Social Sciences, Social Work, Public Health, or a relevant field
- First university degree with two years of relevant experience may be considered
- Five years of professional work experience at national and international levels in emergencies, with a strong focus on GBV and PSEA
- Advanced technical knowledge of GBViE
- Strong training skills, coordination, policy/advocacy, and communication skills (written and oral),
- Knowledge management and monitoring and evaluation skills
- Fluency in French and English
