The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the government of Rwanda, through the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), have opened applications for grants to mitigate economic impact of Covid-19 through media.
The fund is aimed at increasing the role of media in the ongoing efforts to contain further spread of Covid-19.
Benefits
- The sum of FRw100 Million has been earmarked to support the implementation of project proposals that will be submitted by media houses
Eligibility
- Media house should be legally registered and operating in Rwanda
- Media house should be physically located in Rwanda
- Media house should be practicing ethical journalism in their operations
- Media house should be ready to air or publish generated Covid-19 prevention content
