UN Women is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) Programme Analyst.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical input to the annual workplan and budget
- Support the implementation of programme activities
- Support the coordination of the call/request for proposals, including the organisation of technical review committees, and capacity assessment of implementing partners
- Review, coordinate and monitor the submission of implementing partner financial and narrative reports
- Train partners on results-based management and monitor implementation
- Provide technical assistance and capacity development to Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) programme implementing partners
- Coordinate and provide technical support in the implementation of programme activities
- Maintain relationships with spotlight and WPHF implementing partners to support implementation of the programme
- Identify opportunities for capacity building of partners and facilitate technical/programming support and training to partners
- Participate in donor meetings and public information events
- Provide technical input to the monitoring and reporting of the EVAW programme
- Monitor progress of implementation of activities and finances from implementing partners
- Draft reports on monitoring missions, programme results, outputs and outcomes
- Provide substantive input to the preparation of donor and UN Women reports
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Gender/Women’s Studies, International Development, or a related field
- First degree with two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
- Certification of project/programme management would be an added advantage
- Two years, minimum, of progressively responsible work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building
- Experience in working on EVAW within civil society is an asset
- Experience in managing civil society partnerships, coordinating, and liaising with government agencies and/or donors is an asset
- Experience supporting/implementing an EU-funded project is an asset
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and experience in handling of web-based management systems
- Good programme formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation skills
- Good knowledge of results-based management
- Ability to gather and interpret data, reach logical conclusions, and present findings and recommendations
- Knowledge of gender equality and women’s rights technical area
- Ability to identify and analyse trends, opportunities, and threats to fundraising
