The U.S. Mission, Zimbabwe, has announced a call for proposals for its annual Public Affairs Grant Programme.
The programme seeks to promote educational and cultural exchange, build the rule of law and fiscal transparency, encourage civic discourse and action against violence and corruption, support professionalisation of the media, and promote freedom of expression and information.
Benefits
- Awards range from $10,000 to $24,999
- Awards solely for travel to participate in U.S. conferences range from $1,000 to $5,000
Eligibility
- Open to registered not-for-profit organisations, including think tanks, trusts and civil society/non-governmental organisations with programming experience, individuals or non-profit or governmental educational institutions
- For-profit or commercial entities are not eligible
