The U.S. Embassy in The Gambia has opened applications for the Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund.
The fund is designed to support high-impact, quick implementation activities which benefit a large number of people within one year without requiring further assistance.
Benefits
- Successful applicants will each receive U.S.$6,000
Eligibility
- Open to cooperatives registered with the Gambian Cooperative Agency (GCA)
- Nonprofits (international or local) can also apply
- All projects must begin on or after 30 September, 2022, and should be completed within one year of the award date
- U.S. Embassy Banjul encourages applications from all provinces
- All interested cooperatives must have an active registration with the GCA at the time of submitting their applications
- Organisations are encouraged to have a unique entity identifier (UEI)
