The U.S. Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda, has announced a call for applications for the Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund programme.
The programme, which seeks to reduce poverty and hunger in sub-Saharan Africa, is designed to promote self-reliance through significant local contributions and sustainability requirements.
Benefits
- Successful applicant will receive between $1,000 and $15,000 to carry out a programme to support their local communities
Eligibility
- Open to cooperatives that are registered with the Rwanda Cooperative Agency
- Non-governmental organisations that are registered with the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) may also apply
