Apply: U.S. Ambassadors Fund 2022

The U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, have opened applications for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP).

AFCP is designed to help preserve archeological sites, historic buildings and monuments, museum collections, and forms of traditional cultural expression in Egypt and around the world.

Benefits

  • Successful applicants can receive between U.S.$10,000 and U.S.$500,000 per project

Eligibility

  • Reputable and accountable entities that seek funding must demonstrate they have the requisite capacity to carry out projects that can preserve cultural heritage in the country
  • Applicant must ensure application clearly addresses the goals and objectives of this funding opportunity
  • All documents must be prepared in English, and all proposed budgets in U.S. dollars
