The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), in partnership with UNESCO, has opened applications for a Joint Associateship Scheme.
The aim of the programme is to help counteract the brain drain affecting many developing countries.
Benefits
- TWAS provides travel support for the associates and up to U.S.$300 per month
- Living expenses are covered by the host centres
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree
- Special consideration is given to scientists from isolated institutions in developing countries
- Women scientists are especially encouraged to apply
