The Tilitonse Foundation is currently accepting proposals for the civil society strengthening fund programme to provide funding to civil society organisations (CSOs) to deliver their strategic mission and achieve organisational sustainability.

The Tilitonse Foundation works to provide long term support, to identify and address capacity development needs of local CSOs in Malawi.

Benefits

  •  Between £100,000 to £300,000 for a period between three to five years for organisational strengthening and core funding

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be local CSOs and operating within Malawi
  • Applicants must have proof of registration with Non-Governmental Organisations Regulatory Authority (NGORA) and Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) and at least one of the following relevant bodies and regulatory institutions

– Registrar General

– Council for Non-Governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA)

– Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA)

– National Youth Council

– District Council

  • Applicants must be implementing interventions in the prescribed thematic areas of  early childhood development, gender justice, mental health, safe and secure shelter, and climate change
  • Applicants must be able to explain how they will involve women, youth and persons with disabilities in their proposed interventions
